Taimahi Trust is dedicated to enabling meaningful work for young adults with intellectual disabilities. 

 

They work on building micro enterprises that create long term employment opportunities, foster real-life work skills and enable independence. They know that to live an ordinary life they need experiences that grow their skills and talents, a reasonable income and the chance to mix with different types of people. In other words, the opportunity to be like everybody else.

 

Using our using our 8 Basket Jumbo Supreme + Kai-Pot Package Taimahi Trust run a popular Drive Thru Hāngī on Fridays, 4.30-6pm - 19 Bank Street, Whangārei.

 

MKC are proud to provide our Commercial Cookers to businesses such as Taimahi Trust. Our cookers provide ease of fundraising and enable awesome independence and participation with learning real-life, work skills such as food prep, sale, cleaning as so much more!
