Paua Fritters

Check out this very simple, but delicious paua fritter recipe!

Ingredients:
6 pauas minced
1 large onion finely diced
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley


Method:

Sift flour and baking powder in a large bowl.

Lightly whisk eggs.

Add your eggs, 1/2 of the cup of milk, and salt and pepper to the flour and whisk until smooth. Slowly add 1/2 cup milk until the batter is smooth.

Fold in minced Paua, onion, and finely chopped parsley.

Add a small amount of oil at a medium heat, to fry or grill on your MKC hot plate.
